UNITY-CHAN GOES PUBLIC!!!!

As you have seen, this amazing project was made using the Razer Hydra but… for a limited time only… we have ported it to keyboard and mouse! If anyone wishes to try it here’s a link:

For the first part you move with wasd and interact with f.

Second Part you move with mouse and rotate with wasd and open the menu with f

You can restart with escape

Newcomer Approaching!!!!!!

How can we have a game with Unity-Chan and not have someone to fight! Hailing from the unity store, our challenger and protector of the gate, マスタジャルゲン先生様殿 !!!! He’s a master of the sword and paddle and is here to prevent Unity-Chan from escaping. He only challenges the best and will actually refuse to fight you if he does’t see you worth his time. In order to gain the right to challenge him you must complete your weapon by collecting the 3 amazing crates and completing your ULTRA HYPER MEGA AMAZING PADDLE OF DESTINY!!!!!

How does all this relate to 3D?

We have shown all these amazing features but we haven’t actually seen how this game is played :O This game is played using the Razer Hydra and the controls are quite simple. We implemented Travel in such a way so that when the right controller is ahead of the left controller you will move forward and when is behind then it will move backwards. Also with a flick left or right of the left controller you will be able to turn :O As you can see,one can easily get lost in this maze @.@ That’s why we implemented an amazing Wayfinding method so that you will never get lost! We have made a map of the maze that updates real time your position and the position of the objectives xD  In addition, once you are near the crate you can select it. The way we implemented Selection is that it automatically selects the object closes to you. But after selecting how do we manipulate it? Thanks to our amazing System Control, once a object has been selected it will show a menu of everything you can do :O You would be able to manipulate the object by selecting it from the menu. You can pick it up or rotate it or move it or scale it. 😀 So many options xD.

If I see, I interact.

Imagine you are walking down an alley and you see a box, what can you do? There are so many things you can think of doing but there are just a few you can actually do. :O To fix that concern we decided to implement a menu to interact with the objects. If you see it, then you can choose how to interact with it. xD

What is “The Adventures of Unity-chan” without everyone’s favorite star, Unity-chan? Thanks to Little Swan’s PlayGROWnd for creating her, Unity-chan is the kawaii heroine to this fast paced maze navigation / 3D pong quest to save the world.
